I previously gave a rave review about this speaker.. That was before I actually watched a movie with it and used it for actual Dolby EX or other muti-channel cinema surround.
It was horrible.. the voices were completely muffled. It produced a very muted and.. well.. muffled sound. My system literally sounded 10x better without it and letting the receiver adjust for no center channel surround.
There is a reason so many of these are on clearance... They suck. Period.

I picked this up due to it being on sale for cheap and it's signal to noise ratio is one of the best in consumer grade speaker components.
It's an excellent center channel and rings out loud and clear. I've listened to a variety of sources though this speaker (music, movies, sports, etc...) and have been impressed with all.
I totally recommend this product.
