Fantastic for the Money

Beautiful looking stands. Easy to assemble (came with tool, spikes, bumpers!). Very affordable.
My only issues (and I am splitting hairs here):
No where to channel the wire. There is a drop hole; it is not big enough for most wire.
There is a little orange peel on the finish, but you can't see it unless you are viewing very closely. This is probably an issue because I opted for gloss.
Also, because of the gloss, SLIGHT extrusion marks telegraph through the finish.
Something must be wrong with the packaging because I had small scuff marks at the same point on two different top plates.
Suggestions:
Assemble on carpet or other soft material to avoid scratches.
You may want to loosely assemble; and then tighten everything down to make sure parts align well.
Be careful not to bump exposed pieces together, they will scratch easy. Maybe keep foam wrap on until fully assembled.
These stands are absolutely worth the money. I needed them for a secondary system. They disappear when the lights are off--exactly what I wanted. They look gorgeous with my other glossy components. Easy to assemble, absolutely no problems.

This is a great pair of stands worthy of audiophile speakers. It is fairly heavy, very sturdy, ez to put together, and looks great. I've had other stands in this price range that were very lightweight and cheaply manufactured, by comparison. It is not in the league of the $400 Sound Anchor stands, but I do think that you could fill the polees with sand or lead shot (as audiophiles often do) if you wanted something even heavier to absorb more vibration. Great product and outstanding value.
