Product Description
The IHS4 speakers offer the greatest sound quality indoors or out. Engineered and designed to reproduce your favorite audio with the best components and materials available today. These speakers have a 4 inch polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround, and a 19 millimeter parachute silk dome tweeter. They are power efficient with a range between 25 and 100 watts for operation. The frequency response for this speaker is 100Hz to 20kHz offering good bass response, and crisp highs.

These speakers have a great crisp sound with significant bass. Although you won't be rattling any books off the shelf with the bass on these, the speakers do have a very "full" sound. Crisp and clean. The speakers are a bit on the bulky side, but the mounts give you plenty of mounting options (should you wish to mount them in a corner, or against a wall, or between the wall and ceiling...). I actually had another pair of samsung outdoor speakers and ended up returning them. I wanted good sound (that's why we listen right), so I decided to go with these and I am happy wit these, especially for the price. One other component that I loved about these, is the speaker has a quick connect wire terminal that is high quality. This makes the installation (in a tight spot) easy. Nice little touch.

I just finished hooking up my outdoor speakers, with a outdoor volume control. I did not want to spend alot of money on outdoor speaker but I wanted decent sound. I went with the Phoenix Gold IHS6W 6.5 inch woofer and a 25mm tweeter. I found this to be the largest woofer in this price range and was exactly what I was looking for. The white speakers were cheaper than the black, and I took them all apart and sprayed them to match the exterior of my house. They sound great, better than I thought they would.

I've always been a fan of Phoenix Gold stuff, and I was not dissapointed when I hooked these up. I installed them right under my eve on the back porch. They sound great, but the best thing I found was that you can put tons of power to them with little distortion. Which to me is super important because if you are outside, acoustics are horrible, you need lots of volume. I'll definitely recommend these to everyone.
