Comment:
Assembly was easy. I had no real issues other than the adhesive pad on one of the feet came off glue and all. I put a dab of gorilla glue on it and have had no issues. The adjustable stands are nice, the universal mounting hardware was easy to use, and the speaker wire is hidden inside the stand. The base is glass and does show dust, but whatever, its behind my couch where I don't see it. That may be an issue for others though. All in all its a good speaker stand for the price.
Comment:
I bought these because they looked better then the other ones from what I could tell. The base is tempered glass and looks pretty good but that is about it. the rest of it was very cheaply manufactured. When I was assembling the stands one of the screw inserts popped out of the top of the extension pole and wouldnt stay in. I hadnt even put the speakers on and I wasnt going to if it wasnt going to stay and casue my speaker to fall. Plus some of the metal was left in the speaker wire hole in the extension pole, making it a huge pain to get the speaker wire through. Just cheaply made and thats why I am returning mine and buying a different brand.

Comment:
Its been a few weeks since i got these speaker stands. I would say i am satisfied with it overall. below are some pros and cons in my opinion. Just one thing that i would like to mention here, some who when i order this product i had an impression that one box would contain only one stand but however one box had two stands. I actually ordered two quantity and hence got 4 stands which is what i required because my Home theater comes with both front and rear satellite speakers with out stands. but just a heads up if you just need two stands you need to order only one quantity of this product, this may not be clear in the item description.
pros:
Nice looking materials, over all the built quality looks expensive.
Nicely worked for my Home theater wires to conceal them inside the poles.
cons:
There were three different ways to mount the speakers, i was not able to use the better two ways i.e. using screws/nuts and bolts for my speakers (by the way i have samsung's HT-z520), but however i used the double tape the easiest method.
You will need a screw driver to set up the stand which is not included in the package, personally i like to have all the tools right out of the box since i am no a handy man.

Stand & Delivered?

Comment:
The stands are relatively easy to assemble. Each part is individually labeled (with required number of pieces for that part) and encased in see-through plastic. They are sturdy enough and stable enough for smaller speakers adhering to the weight limit specified. The kit provides a variety of methods of securing the speaker to the stand, and provides the necessary fasteners for each method. I chose this stand for my surround speakers because it kind of matched the front speaker stands of my Sony Blueray Home Entertainment system at about 20% of the cost. Some care is required when fastening the vertical pipe to the bottom part of the stand since it is glass. If the wrench provided is used for that purpose, the chance of cracking the glass should be minimized. The only step that took a little more time than expected was threading the speaker wires through the middle of the vertical pipe support. I had to pull the telescoping portions of the pipe apart to get the wires through each section.

Attractive and Functional

Comment:
These stands look great and are stable even on carpet. I like the look of the glass base and the cable management system is nice (works just fine with my speakers, although it would be tight to get larger speaker wire inside the top portion of the tube as some others have mentioned). I had no problems with assembly or threading that another reviewer mentioned. The biggest drawback to the stands is only having three options for mounting. One uses a post (that goes into the bottom of the speaker, another uses a screw (into the back of the speaker) and the third utilizes double stick tape and a flat base. The only one that worked with my (older) speakers was the double sided tape option, which I was not interested in. So a trip to the hardware store to pick up a couple washers and nuts (less than $1) and I had a working system. Also, even though the stands are more expensive than some others, they are eligible for free super saver shipping (which actually made them less than many other stands).
