Very happy with this. Not true surround as other reviews say but it's to be expected, however the sound quality is WAY better than the tinny sounds from my 32" Vizio HDTV. As an aside, I think manufacturers make their stock TV speakers sound this way so people will have to buy products such as this but I'm very happy with the setup. I bought a refurbished one and it's just as good as a new one, a minor scratch is all that it had. DEFINATELY buy the sound bar with the wireless subwoofer, you will be glad you did!

First, the sub-woofer wouldn't work. Never worked. The directions to set it up (yes, I read them) were very simple. It just didn't work. Never heard a peep from the sub-woofer. So I just used the bar for a while. OK sound - obviously a little tinny, but not bad. Better than the TV sound. The tiny, easy-to-lose remote is a nuisance and is cheap - doesn't work well; has to be aimed very precisely, and the buttons are balky. But one day, within a few months of buying the system, I was adjusting the sound, and...blip! Nothing. It just died. Not a sound from it since. Trash.

I am currently in Iraq, and I finally got my own room. So I was looking for something to compliment my new Vizio TV, and I found this. I read reviews all over the internet and decided to give it a shot. I was not at all disappointed. My room is kind of small, so this thing sounds awesome. Actually sounds like true surround sound. The subwoofer sounds good and the capability to put it anywhere in my room, i can get a more accurate bass reporduction. I love this thing, I want to buy another one and send it home. I love it love it love it.
Oh i own the yamaha version at home, and this sounds way better.

Dead after 6 months

I thought this was a great product until after 6 months it just died. Vizio will replace it with a refurbished one but i have to send it back for $75 shipping charge and then they won't give me my one year warrenty back but only the remainder of the original warrenty or 90 days. When I spoke to VIZIO they had the we don't care attitude. I have outfitted my whole house with their products and now I get slapped in the face.
DON'T BUY VIZIO THE S&*K

I went for the factory refurbished model and saved about $100 off of normal retail. It was in like new condition, and works fantastic! I didn't want a big set up with front and rear speakers, and this fills the bill great for me. The wireless sub-woofer is a great feature too.
